GMTK GameJam 2026 - Countdown

You are an office temp starting at BossCorp - will you count down the hours until 5pm, or will you get busy?  Get busy doing your job, or having fun?  Or both?

Work life balance is controlled by doing work tasks vs doing pranks.  Tasks are assigned to your task list, pranks are hidden, just explore rooms, find items and work out what pranks you can do.  You can craft a small number of items, using certain object combinations in certain containers.

Had lots of fun with this - and thanks to my friend Gavin for helping with the writing of the characters & dialog.  First time doing that kind of game, its not perfect, needs a lot more polish, but we learned a lot. 

Use Gamepad or Keyboard, everything is WASD/Arrows & E/Space.

Needs more pranks, and hints about them.
